Gunmen on Tuesday stormed a highs school in Kenya and opened fired on candidates sitting a History paper.
The Daily Nation reported that police said no one was injured in the morning incident.
Police said the shooting started minutes after the examination started. It forced students to run for safety with their papers.
A police spokesperson is quoted by Daily Nation to have said that the attackers fled into nearby bushes as police launched a manhunt for them.
“It was around 11am when they began shooting. We could not establish the motive behind the attack but we are investigating the matter,” the police spokesperson said.
The students however continued with their examination with police protection but in a different school.
