The time has come for decisive matches of the season, and many of them will be held simultaneously. It’s now most convenient to monitor the livescore for today games on the website of sports statistics, where fans will find only reliable information.

The championship of England nearing its finish line, and very soon everyone will get answers to the most important questions of the current championship. One of the main ones is who will make it into the Champions League. There are several contenders at once and among the key ones is Chelsea.

It is already officially known that Ziyech will join the team this summer, plus there are rumours about the interest of the London club to several star performers.

However, to begin with, it is extremely important for the club to qualify for the Champions League for the next season. It’s always easy to know if it managed to accomplish its task thanks to the livescores for today’s games.

One thing is for sure: if Chelsea really claims to finish in the top-4, then the team should show its maximum in the remaining matches. This will be extremely difficult, because, to be honest, the main characteristic of Lampard team’s performance this season is instability.

Because of it, the club missed a number of points and if it were not for the disastrous failures of Manchester United, Arsenal, and Tottenham, then Chelsea would definitely not be in the top-4.

Most interesting EPL fixtures

Lampard’s players still have quite a tight and busy schedule for the rest of the season. This is easy to see by looking at the calendar of the EPL fixtures.

That is why, even despite the current points advantage over competitors, it can be said that the team is unlikely to qualify for the Champions League. In particular, the following factors play against it:

  1. Short bench. Chelsea’s lineup is not as full of stars as that of its competitors, so if one of the leaders doesn’t play, then it is usually extremely difficult to find an adequate replacement for him.
  2. Progress of direct competitors. For example, let’s talk about Manchester United. In 2020, Solskjaer’s team looks considerably more confident. Given the slight lag behind Chelsea, the Red Devils will be happy if Lampard’s team makes at least one mistake, as will allow them to overtake the Blues.
  3. Poor teamwork. Now the club is actually divided into youth and veterans. There are practically no ‘middle-aged’ players; athletes with big age difference poorly understand their partners on the field.

However, it is the EPL fixtures that will answer all the main questions of the busy season, so the upcoming confrontations promise to be truly crucial, and no one has the right to make mistakes in them.
