Former President of South Africa, Jacob Zuma was too ill to attend his own corruption trial on Tuesday, according to his lawyers.
But a day after the court rejected his lawyers argument and questioned the credibility of a sick note from his doctors, Zuma is on social media displaying a photo of himself showcasing his shooting skills.
On Wednesday the former President posted a photo of himself at home holding a gun, perhaps practicing how to fire it or hunt.
It is not clear when the photograph was taken but this is the first time Zuma is posting on his Twitter account after an arrest warrant was issued for him by a court.
State prosecutors on Tuesday requested information from Zuma’s team about his ailments, but they were not able to provide details.
Zuma’s attorney Dan Mantsha however said Zuma’s health matter was one of national security.
The judge in his ruling questioned whether the medical note was valid or even written by a doctor.
The court however ordered that he is arrested only on May 6 if he fails to show up in court for the resumption of his corruption trial.
Zuma posted the photos of him with his gun without any caption but it got some South Africans to react.

In 2018 the South African National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) announced that Zuma would be facing prosecution for 18 charges of corruption.
The charges relate to 783 questionable payments Zuma allegedly received in connection with the controversial multi-billion rand arms deal.
Jacob Zuma according to the NPA boss would be facing charges including 1 count of racketeering, 2 counts of money laundering and 12 counts of fraud.
