World governing body FIFA has extended the mandate of the Ghana Football Association normalization committee.
The extension is to help the committee complete the electoral process expected to go beyond the slated October 25, 2019 proposed date.
An official confirmation from FIFA extended the work of the interim managerial team up to November 17, 2019.
The committee will now have enough time for a proper handing over after the electioneering process.
The Ghana FA normalization committee was expected to end its mandate on September 30.
But the committee has now been given an extension for the third time since taking office in September 2018.
FIFA in 2018 formed a normalization committee to see the day to day affairs of the Football Association after an investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas caught several football officials and administrators on camera taking bribe.
