Police in Uganda have arrested 15 South Sudan refugees for fighting over a world cup match.
The fight erupted on Sunday during Brazil and Switzerland match in a refugee camp in West Nile.
Four people died in the clash.
Why the bloodshed?
South Sudanese refugees in Uganda belong to various ethnic groups engaged in conflicts back home.
Some of the refugees from the Nuer ethnic group reportedly battled rival ethnic Dinka during the match.
Police say the trouble began at half time when a Dinka man, identified as Thon Majok, left the video centre,
Upon returning he found a Nuer man occupying his seat.
Senior Ugandan police spokesman Patrick Onyango says “Majok ordered the Nuer man to vacate the seat.”
“The Nuer man declined. The two started fighting then each was joined by his tribesmen,” Onyango told Reuters.
Refugees in Uganda
Uganda is hosting some 1.4 million refugees, including more than a million from South Sudan.
South Sudan is engulfed by a five-year-old civil with millions displaced and thousands killed.
The East African regional bloc is making efforts to restore peace to the country.
