State prosecutors in Kenya have charged a man with having sex with two goats belonging and killing them afterwards.
The 35-year-old man is said to have had sex with the two goats belonging to his neighbour.
Carcass of the two goats were presented in court by the prosecutors as evidence in Kangundo, east of the capital Nairobi.
Kenya’s law allows for such offenders to be jailed for up to 14 years for anyone found guilty of bestiality.
The suspect claimed to have been tortured and beaten by police when he was arrested and was asked to be taken to hospital for treatment after he was bailed for $1,000 bail.
His trial resumes on 29 January 2018.
Last March, a man was jailed for 15 months for having sex with a chicken in western Kenya, claiming he was too afraid to chat up women.
