News is emerging about how some Nigerians who boarded a Lagos-bound aircraft resorted to prayers to escape death after the plane was filled with smoke.
Passengers shared stories of how they were gripped with fears on Tuesday on the domestic passenger plane which nearly burst into flames.

The Aero Contractors flight was traveling from Port Harcourt to Lagos.
One of the passengers narrated how the entire incident occurred on her twitter account.
I escaped death on Aero flight from port harcourt to lagos today the 18th of April.

20 minutes after take off, our aero contractor flight started smoking. For 35min we were chanting prayers, screaming, panicking….

The Plane according to passengers, landed safely in Lagos with no reports of anyone sustaining injuries.
