A 23-year-old man in South Africa’s Rustenburg has been killed by stoning after engaging in a brawl with another man.
News24 reported that the deceased was stoned to death after quarreling with a 41 year old man who allegedly fondled his girlfriend.
Police in South Africa said the suspect, 41 years of age forcefully grabbed the girlfriend of the deceased.
Lieutenant Colonel Pelonomi Makau said “The incident led to a fight in which the suspect was stabbed with a knife on the neck.”
A friend of the suspect assisted him to retaliate by stoning the victim.
Pelonomi Makau said “The victim and the suspects were both taken to the hospital for medical treatment where the victim was declared dead on arrival.”
The suspects has been already appeared in court over the case.
