The exiled, former leader of The Gambia, Yahya Jammeh is reported to have taken to farming in Equatorial Guinea.

Pictures circulating on social media show Mr. Jammeh in the company of some individuals including the President of Equatorial Guinea, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo on a farm.

Mr. Jammeh who had ruled The Gambia for decades was forced into exile in Equatorial Guinea after refusing to peacefully exit power following an election defeat.

In pictures circulating on social media, Jammeh was seen in a farm clearing weed and clad in his notable all-white attire.

This is the first time Mr. Jammeh’s activity is coming public after going into exile.

Gambia’s new president, Adama Barrow has said that Mr. Jammeh’s regime will be investigated over allegations of murders and misappropriation of funds.
