Amid the coronavirus pandemic, mankind is finding new ways of living and adopting to the troubling dispensation.

In some countries, schools and major public places for social activities remain closed and many wonder when restrictions would be lifted.

In Netherlands however, some restaurants and arts centres that offer such services are gearing up for their reopening by trying out safer ways for couples to dine out and still feel protected.

One arts centre called Mediamatic has gone creative in designing dinning booths that are greenhouse based.

The new dining set up called “chambre séparée” offers guests plant-based dinners in greenhouses on the Amsterdam water side.

In an announcement on its website the Mediamatic asked clients to “enjoy a plant-based 4-course menu in our quarantine greenhouses.”

Mediamatic said clients can book their own greenhouse by “choosing a date and a time slot, from 18:00 – 20:30 or from 20:30 – 23:00. For now, we offer a two-person ticket. Do you want to take an extra person, then we will charge €40 at the door.”

It added that “This of course is fully dependent on obtaining permission from local and national authorities.”
