Germany is stepping up its efforts at supporting coronavirus patients especially in Italy to access better treatment in German cities.

Italy has recorded over 80,000 cases of coronavirus and over 10,000 deaths.

Currently Italy’s health system is near crippling an can barely treat many of its patients.

Hospitals are over stretched and that puts patients with critical underlining conditions at risk of dying.

Hundreds of patients die everyday from the virus in Italy just because of current broken down health systems caused by the pandemic.

Germany is now helping Italy to rescue the crisis by rebuilding military planes into Intensive Care Units for treatment of covid-19 patients.

Pictures of these re-designed planes with beds and ventilators to support patients have gone viral and seem to impress many.

Once the military air ambulances arrive in Germany patients will then be transported to hospitals across Germany.
