Children in Mozambique appeared concerned about the rate of spread of coronavirus across the world and have resorted to prayers.

Mozambique so far has confirmed at least one case of coronavirus but the children are not concerned just about their country but the rest of Africa and the world at large.

Some of them were seen in a viral photo laying hands of maps with names of various continents saying a prayer for the healing of the world.

43 African countries have recorded over 1700 cases of coronavirus all together with 58 deaths.

What experts are concerned about is the likely impact on health facilities in Africa if more cases are reported.

Many countries are without personal protective equipment and testing kits as well as enough ventilators to take care of patients.

In some countries on the continent curfews and lockdowns have been enforced to prevent movement of people to stop the spread.
