The President of the United States, Donald Trump has announced that he has taken a coronavirus test.

President Trump announced at a press conference that he had taken the coronavirus test on Friday.

But Trump says he did not know the results yet and that it usually takes 1-2 days.

He said on Saturday that “I took the test last night (referring to Friday), and I decided I should based on the press conference yesterday.”

The President was questioned about not taking a test at a press conference.

The White House spokesperson Judd Deere has said that everyone who comes into contact with President Donald Trump and Vice-President Mike Pence will have their temperature checked.

“Out of an abundance of caution, temperature checks are now being performed on any individuals who are in close contact with the President and Vice President,” he said.

Meanwhile the Trump administration is expected to extend the travel ban to the United States from European countries to include the United Kingdom and Ireland.

He said “We’re looking at it very seriously because they have had a little bit of activity unfortunately so we are going to be looking at that, actually we already have looked at it and that is going to be announced.”
