Nigerian authorities have shutdown a Chinese eatery in Lagos State, for refusing to serve Nigerians.
The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission closed down the Haufei Restaurant and Mall on Saturday.
In a statement the commission said staff of the restaurant, admitted that it was the business policy of the owners not to have Nigerians eat in the restaurant.
“Today, FCCPC closed Haufei restaurant and Mall 33 Aboyade Cole, VI, based on credible intelligence and surveillance that the business declines service to Nigerians.
Staff of the business admitted this is the policy and our operatives experienced same. Both now closed for further regulatory action,” the statement said.

On social media, Nigerians have been reacting to the decision to close the eatery joint.
But wait o, is it not better to be bounced at a Chinese Restaurant than to be poisoned there
If you force them to start serving blacks, what happens when they start poisoning our foods? Those type of poisons that take effect after 2 to 3 days…
Just thinking out loud.

GREAT JOB!! They should never be allowed to reopen. Next, Nigerians that were denied services should go to Court and seek damages. I have also heard that some Nigerian Landlords refuse to rent to Nigerians. Go after them too.
