Tennis Legend, Roger Federer has met Namibian President Hage Geingob as he continues to promote the work of his foundation in Africa.
Federer whose mother comes from South Africa has for over a decade now been supporting thousands of African kids to access better education.
He is currently on a charity tour of Africa ahead of a charity match with his friend and tennis rival, Rafael Nadal to be held in South Africa.
The Match for Africa charity event this week will help raise more funds for the work of Federer’s tennis foundation which is focusing on investing in the education of under privileged children.
Federer said in a statement that “it was such an inspirational visit” to Namibia.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of a vibrant movement to enhance school readiness in the country. Because children are tomorrow’s future.”

The Swiss star is considered by many as the greatest tennis player in history but his works off the court also appeal to many of his fans.
