Nigerian-born Anthony Joshua has met with Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari in the United Kingdom and presented his heavyweight belts to him.
Joshua regained his belts last year by defeating Mexican star Andy Ruiz in Saudi Arabia.
The boxer won on unanimous decision to reclaim his heavyweight belts and he will now be defending one of those belts against Bulgarian fighter Kubrat Pulev in May this year.
His father hails from Sagamu, Ogun State in Nigeria and Joshua was thankful to Buhari for Nigerian support he continues to receive.

Before his 2019 rematch with Ruiz, Joshua visited his home country, Nigeria to undertake some social activities.
He visited various communities across Nigeria hoping to catch up with his country of birth. Joshua also visited the popular Lagos slum, called Makoko.
Joshua also visited the well known nightclub founded by Nigerian legendary musician, Fela Kuti.
