A young and popular model has died after collapsing on a catwalk at São Paulo in Brazil at a Fashion event.
The 26-year-old model called Tales Soares is said to had been rushed to the hospital after collapsing but did not survive.
He was modeling for the brand Ocksa at the fashion show when he fell.
Local media reported that when Soares fell many among the audience thought it was part of the sketch.
But fellow models looked on in shock as Soares remained motionless requiring medical help.
He was carried from the stage quickly by firefighters and rushed to the hospital but could not be revived.
Event organizers confirmed the death of Soares in a statement posted on Facebook.
The agency said they were “sorry for his loss and send our deepest condolences to Tales’ family.”
The statement added that they were providing “all necessary assistance at this sad time”.
