Two black boxes that were recovered from the Boeing 737 MAX jet that crashed on Sunday in Ethiopia have now been taken to the French capital, Paris.

Ethiopian officials on Wednesday said they were unable to read details of the black boxes recovered this week following last Sunday’s tragic plane crash.

To help with investigations Ethiopian Airlines said experts in Paris should be able to help understand what happened to the jet.

The pilot of #ET302 (Boeing 737 MAX 8) is said to have reported difficulties with the aircraft to ATC.

The devices recovered from the crash site on Monday included the jet’s cockpit voice recorder and the digital flight data recorder.

Relatives of the 157 victims of the crash had the chance to visit the crash site outside the Ethiopian capital.

The airline crashed shortly after taking off from Bole International Airport in Addis Ababa. It was en-route to Nairobi Kenya.

The aircraft that crashed on Sunday had over 30 nationalities on board.

All 157 people who were on board the plane did not survive the crash.

Meanwhile there is a global halt to the use of Boeing jets as countries around the world await information on how safe it is to fly them.
