Ronaldinho is now the brand ambassador of Betika, one of the leading betting firms in Kenya.

The Brazilian football great has been unveiled by the firm, Kenya’s Standard Newspaper reported.

Betika said Ronaldinho stands for what the brand represents.

The firm aims to inspire customers to believe in themselves, their self-worth and to encourage them to bank on themselves like Ronaldinho did, thus the adoption of the tag-line “Bet On Yourself”.

Ronaldinho is expected to arrive in Kenya on 9 November, with visits planned for Nairobi and Kisumu.

At Kisumu on 10 November, he’ll be the guest of honour at a Betika Shop opening and then he will watch football matches organized by Betika at Kisumu stadium.

The featured teams in Kisumu will be Kisumu All Stars, Vihiga United, Bondo FC and Eldoret Youth.

He will then travel back to Nairobi where he will open another Betika shop, then head to Camp Toyo and later on to Ruaraka to watch a match between Sofapaka and Kenya Legends.
