US President Donald Trump says his wife who is currently touring some African countries is much loved by the people.

Mrs. Trump on Tuesday arrived in Ghana where she started her Africa tour from. She visited a hospital and a slave castle in the central part of Ghana.

She flew from Ghana to Malawi on Thursday and visited a school as he promotes her Be Best campaign.

Mrs. Trump flew into Kenya on Thursday evening, after her visit to Malawi. In Kenya she will tour some of the country’s wildlife sites.

Mrs. Trump is also expected to watch a performance at the National Theatre. She will conclude her visit in Egypt.

In a tweet Mr. Trump wrote that has his wife Melania Trump “is doing really well in Africa”.

“The people love her, and she loves them! It is a beautiful thing to see,” he said in the tweet.

Melania Trump’s visit to Africa is focusing on her interest in children’s welfare.

Meanwhile in all the countries Mrs. Trump has visited, the reaction has been lukewarm. Many seem not to have much interest in her visit.
