Ghanaian defender Samuel Kojo Abbey played full time to inspire Mawyawadi 2-0 win over Mountain Lion in the Myanmar National League II at the Padonmar Stadium on Friday.

Abbey, who joined the side on a one-year deal in 2017, was included in the starting eleven as they hosted league rivals Mountain Lion in the last fixture of the season.

The 19-year old, a product of JMC Hippos and Kitengela Shooters churned out impressive performances to aid Mawyawadi to a fifth-place finish in the Myanmar National League II which wrapped up over the weekend.

Abbey who joined the club in 2017 during the first phase of the league, featured in 15 games and found the back of the net three times.

” Fantastic season, i look up to the coming weeks to know my future, “he told Africafeeds.com.

Abbey has had stints with Ghanaian club Okwahu United, as well as Kitengela Shooters and JMC Hippos.
