One of the sons of former South African President, Jacob Zuma has died.
Vusi Nhlakanipho Zuma was the youngest son of Zuma and his late wife Kate Mantsho.
News24 reports that Vusi died on Sunday night after a short illness.
A spokesperson for the Presidency has also confirmed the news.
Solidarity for Zuma
The ruling African National Congress expressed its condolences in a statement.
It called the young Zuma a “bright and promising young lion and disciplined member” of the party.
Young Zuma was a “dedicated and humble activist who took keen interest in the livelihoods of our people”, it added.

Zuma who resigned from office this year has four wives, including one from whom he is separated.
The 76 year old former leader also has more than 20 children.
The former President of South Africa is set to marry a 24 year old lady, as his seventh wife.
