Nigerian music star D’banj has lost his one-year old son, Daniel. Local media reports that the boy drowned at home.
The boy, Daniel Oyebanjo III reportedly drowned in a swimming pool in a home owned by D’banj and his wife Lineo Didi Kilgrow in Lagos.
Daniel was born in the United States last year. He celebrated his first anniversary in May.
Dbanj who was in the U.S. for 2018 BET Awards wrote on his Instagram account that “Trying Times. But my God is Always and Forever Faithful.”
D’banj or Kokomaster also called Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, is a musician, singer-songwriter, entrepreneur and television personality. He is 38 years old.
