Hundreds of South Africans gathered at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto to hold a special national memorial for the late freedom fighter Winnie Madikizela-Mandela.
The anti-Apartheid icon died on April 2 at the age of 81 after a long illness.
The memorial on Wednesday was dominated by a lot of singing by various groups and special speeches to celebrate Winnie Mandela who played a pivotal role in the struggle against white minority rule in South Africa.
