Ghana will be hosting a two day forum on April 4 and 5 aimed at looking at moving beyond aid and mobilizing revenue under the G-20 Africa compact.
The two day meeting to be held in the capital Accra will bring together Ministers of State, Government, and Revenue agencies from countries across the Sub-Region; multilateral institutions and development agencies; private sector and Civil Society Organizations.
It will afford participants the opportunity to deliberate on issues and challenges related to domestic revenue mobilization among Compact with Africa countries, and the need to improve efficiency and fairness of taxation.
The forum is being supported by the International Monetary Fund and the African Centre for Energy Transformation.
