There is anger among Ghanaians following the circulation of a video which shows four teenage boys gang-raping a young girl.
The circulation of the video on social media has attracted a lot of outrage from some Ghanaians who have called for police investigation and prosecution of the perpetrators.
In the video the four young boys held the teenage girl against her will, abused her and raped her.
Police in Ghana have not confirmed when the said incident happened and the identity of the victim and her abusers but are said to be investigating the incident.
On social media there have been several condemnations not only about the incident but the circulation of the video as well.
Please help me understand what the sense is in posting a video of a girl being rapped on social media, as an attempt to get justice?
I mean this video will be there for years to come and will constantly remind her of her trauma.
We should know better.

I’ve not seen the video, but I don’t need to to be outraged, the description is enough for me to want to get up and do something.
So get that video offline.
If you share it, you’re an accomplice.

There should be a law to regulate some of these things. If people know that they can be traced and prosecuted for their recklessness in their usage of social media, they’ll be more careful what they put out there…
