Five pro-democracy activists in the Democratic Republic of Congo arrested in October for protesting have now been released on bail by the government.
The Filimbi movement members have been campaigning for political reforms in the DRC.
The government arrested these activists while demonstrating against the decision to postpone presidential and parliamentary elections scheduled for November.
Protesters have been calling for President Joseph Kabila, who has been in power since 2001 to step down when his second and final term in office supposed ends in December.
The released activists will have to appear before a judge next week.
The Filimbi movement is a pro-democracy watchdog.
