Kenya’s government has now suspended all public gatherings after the country recorded its first case of coronavirus.
Church services are however not affected by the suspension but churches are expected to provide hand-sanitisers.
The minister of health, Mutahi Kagwe said schools will also remain open but inter-school activities will remain suspended.
Kagwe however said there was “no cause for alarm” while urging for “serious citizen responsibility”.
