The first lady of the United States, Melania Trump on Thursday arrived in Malawi to continue her Africa tour.
She arrived in Malawi from Ghana where she started her tour from. Mrs. Trump landed in Malawi’s capital and was welcomed by Malawi’s first lady, Gertrude Mutharika.
She is expected to visit some schools in Malawi and make some donations as she projects her Be Best initiative.
Her visit to Africa is focusing on her interest in children’s welfare.
In Ghana where she arrived on Tuesday, Mrs. Trump visited a local hospital to observe how care is given to children.

On Wednesday she visited the Cape Coast castle in the central part of the country to learn more about the history of slavery.

Mrs. Trump will be visiting Kenya and Egypt before flying back to the United States.
