Kenyan police on Monday arrested three men who had in their possession over $10 million in fake money.
Those arrested include one Kenyan and two Chadians. Police say they also had in their possession fake euro notes.
Police in a statement said the three were arrested at a house in Nairobi’s upmarket Westlands neighbourhood.
According to the police statement “following a tip-off from members of public. The three were found with over a billion fake currency.”
The “Kenyan” according to the police was the driver of the Chadians.
Kenya’s Directorate of Criminal Investigations published pictures of the fake money discovered during the arrest.
