South African cities namely Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg were named among Africa’s six wealthiest cities according to the report.

Kenya’s Nairobi is the only east African city to feature among the six cities rated. Nigeria’s Lagos city also featured on the list.

Egypt’s Cairo was the only north African city to feature as well. The six cities are, Durban, Cape Town, Cairo, Lagos, Johannesburg and Nairobi.
