The former president of South Africa, Jacob Zuma has made his first public appearance after resigning two weeks ago.
The former South African leader was captured on video in KwaZulu-Natal where he had gone to attend the official opening of the provincial Legislature on Tuesday.
The event was presided over by king Goodwill Zwelithini.
Former President Zuma arrived at the Royal Show Grounds in Pietermaritzburg, according to News24 with his full presidential security detail.
In the said video, Zuma was received with loud cheers when he arrived.
The 75 year former leader was forced to resign after his party the ANC recalled him. He had refused to give in but eventually decided to exit.
His presidency was characterized by series of scandals especially corruption allegations.
